A seven-year-old boy has been found living with a family of pigs in China and unable to communicate with human beings.
According to ICrossChina, a 7-year old boy named Liu Hongbo was found by social workers living with pigs in filth. He was discovered at his family home in Fangyu City, in central China’s Henan Province. He was reportedly in a bad shape, he had dirts all over him with several cuts and bruises all over his body.
Investigations revealed his parents abandoned him and three other children who are reportedly dead. A fourth one is in the custody of a relative. The boy was given an audience when his pictures surfaced on the social media. It was later revealed he was frequently maltreated by his mother who physically assaulted him so often.
One of the sources said: “When somebody goes round sometimes to tell her to stop, she just smiles as if nothing has happened. She’s always beating him and throwing him around the house.”
When he was found, he was sleeping outside on a pile of clothes in an empty pigpen and “smelt like a pig” but the social workers, from a nearby children’s home, were unable to take him away as they need permission from city officials before being able to intervene.
The boy is currently living with his aunt and professionals believe he would soon learn how to communicate with humans after due exposure.
