RMD advised him to seek guidance from experts in the movie industry as he launches his debut movie, 鈥淎 Ghetto Love Story.鈥�
Veteran Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has hailed comedian-turned-filmmaker, Basketmouth on his debut movie, "A Ghetto Love Story.".
However, he urged him to seek guidance from experts in the movie industry.
RMD offered the words of advice via his Instagram page and wrote: 鈥淐ongratulations on your new film 鈥楢 Ghetto Love Story鈥�. I say make I call you, hail you first and then give you advice. You know you are entering a place where people have already established. Hold ground.
鈥淵ou fit press things for different places. This is not comedy. Do not do it anyhow. This na film.
鈥淲hen you enter, go find people wey hold ground. People wey dey control the whole area. All of them like Funke Akindele, Mo Abudu, AY, Kunle Afolayan and other people wey dey do film well. Wey be oga. Call them.
鈥淭ell them you want to know one or two things. Comedy with Buchi fit work, but that na after you don pay respect to people wey hold ground.鈥�
