Recall that Turji and other bandits have been terrorizing Zamfara and the North West Zone.

He also announced the killing of Kachalla Halilu Sububu a bandit leader operating in Western Zamfara as another success by the troops.
The bandit leader was killed in Kwaren Kirya, a community in Maru local government area.
General Christopher added that a joint military theatre operation code-named 鈥極peration Fansar Yamma Northwest鈥� will be established to tackle the spread of Insecurity in the region.
Additional helicopters and other equipment, according to him will be deployed to the country.
